The waves in the Landes were surfed for the first time in the sixties. Since the discovery of these surf spots, many famous surfers came on the coast of the Landes in order to find the perfect sandbar and the best waves.

The Landes is known as the best French department for slip sports and many professional surfers consider it like the best surf country of all Europe.

The beaches of Biscarosse are localised in the north of the Landes, near the Bassin d’Arcachon.

Every year, you can surf great waves in these surf spots. The configuration of the beach allows to find adapted waves to all the levels.

The sea-bed is made up only of sand which cancels any risk when you slam.
